Of course it is in an old building but it is renovated and even the bathroom was big. We stayed in a room on the second floor with a small balcony overlooking Place de l'Etang. A small fridge served our needs well. There are several restaurants close by and a Spar supermarket. We ate all 3 nights at the Restaurant l'Etang. It was very good and we also recommend it. From the instant you arrive, they make you feel like family and do everything possible to ensure you have a perfect stay. Bicycle friendly accommodation with secure storage for your bike. Delicious homemade meals made every evening with care. Highly recommended. We can’t wait to return! "

"The hotel was fine, but the owner was less than friendly - I never write reviews, but his lack of friendly service was just too much. There are a lot of steps to go up and he would not help with my bag. Also, if I asked to buy a glass of wine he acted like he was doing me a favor. I was so mad at him that I did not buy dinner in their restaurant even though it has good reviews. I was in France for a month and I never received such rude, unfriendly service."
