"Staff were fabulous and very helpful. Lovely character hotel which could have been made something special with a bit of thought. Great location if you like staying in the centre of a town, not ideal if you don't. Very easy to find but the parking was dire. My room was of good size but needed updating I thought it expensive for what it was. It also was the hottest room I have ever stayed in with a little fan which was less than useless. Food was OK but nothing special. "

"This hotel is perfect for a traveler with nearness to highway and very simple checkin and rooms. The pub was perfect for an evening drink after a hard drive and the food was very good as well, service at bar great. "

"it was very tranquil area, also quiet room. The bathroom had some dangerous steps around, as well as the access from the corridor to the room itself. And the bathroom door being of glass was making the use of it a bit uncomfortable as for privacy is concern "

"This is a secluded mountain location. The staff are friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, it is a must if you are staying her to try the restaurant. There is a spa which I didn’t use. "

"Receptionist was most unfriendly to the point of ignorance. The room price demanded on arrival was 50% more than advertised on the website. When this was pointed out he just asked if I had a booking - if not then this was the only price available. I refused to pay extra, went online and booked through an agency for the advertised price and went to the desk again with my booking confirmation. "Stunning views from our room and the staff were friendly/helpful, but the rooms and facilities felt a bit dated and could maybe do with a revamp. Dinner seemed expensive so we chose to eat elsewhere."

"Well located hotel in the heart of Vitoria-Gasteiz's Old Town, minutes walk from the train station. Ane on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The Art Deco staircase was a real highlight and memorable feature."

"Excellent location to walk to everywhere, surprising good restaurants not in the old town area but out side the old town in the southern border, the traditional fine art museum contents are average, but the buildings complex are superb, the modern art museum is excellent inside and out."

"It's more of a motel. The rooms are basic and the equipment modest and old, but the beds are comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, but they are also annoyingly fragrant. Every day we found one cockroach - one on the terrace of the restaurant, one in the hallway in front of the room and one in the bathroom."
