It is very easy to get to the animal centres and I was still able to access the internet so could order grab taxis. "The hotel is in a great location to visit the Orang Utans and Sun Bears. Its a relaxed hotel and the staff are really friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was great! Negatives - wifi is hit and miss so card payments not always possible. No ATM nearby but we changed cash at a nearby hotel. "For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle.
