"Well located property just steps from the Cathedral. The apartment was clean and attractive. Nicely decorated with lots of windows with shutters worked well for both security and room darkening. Kitchen is a little minimalist but functional for breakfast and simple meals. Super clean and spacious bathroom. Comfortable 4 night stay."

No frills like blow dryer, coffee pots etc. It was very clean Air condition barely or not working so opened windows and endured alot of road noise and humidity (it was raining). "This is an old hotel and too expensive for its quality. However the difference is made by its staff. No elevator but the staff promptly offer to carry up the luggage. Nice area for breakfast. The parking site is very close. They justify the price because it is located at a few blocks from the cathedral."

"Comfortable, clean, convenient. The only problem I had is that there were a lot of fruit flies in my room when I first arrived. I found the source, an area on the door jamb near the bathroom. I wet some bathroom tissue and wiped it down and they were no longer a problem. An unusual situation so I cannot hold it against the property. No coffee available in the room or at the kitchen. But this seems to be typical in Spanish hotels. "

"A very old stone building very nicely renovated and modernized. Our room had small windows but the stone fireplace and old sink were gorgeous; the A/C worked great. We had the hotel breakfast one morning--it was fine, reasonable cost; but there are plenty of cafés nearby as well. Alda corp evidently runs several similar hotels in Santiago. "
