"We booked this hotel because it said it had a Restaurant and we had been travelling all day from the UK bulb when we got here it was closed we were very hungry and very disappointed, the room was ok and was being modernised but parts were unfinished such as the Toilet door frame had not been sanded down where it had been filled which meant if was rough to touch, the new frame had also not been painted, their was no Tea and Coffee facilities which is usually standard in most hotels, in the...

"The father and daughter who run the hotel are great. They speak very good English ( a great thing when my French is so poor) and run a nice hotel. The food at the hotel is a major plus. I enjoyed the day I spent in Revel and this hotel."

"It was a strange to stay. If you are looking for simplicity, solace, meditation, and walking around the grounds then this is your place to stay. The halls at night were dark. We felt that we were in the movie "The Shining". We stayed for one night at the beginning of September and it was hot, so we left the windows opened at night. They are no screens in the window or AC. In the middle of the night, we heard something flying around the room and they turned out to be 3 bats. Fortunately, they...
