Check-in via the handy external kiosk demanded immediate full payment even though the room had been prepaid (this extra payment was manually refunded after the very helpful manager arrived at 5pm to staff reception). "The receptionist was very rude, the room was clean but in poor condition, and the walls were so thin you could hear the conversation next door perfectly. The hotel is slightly outside of the city center but still within walkable distance. For the price we paid would have expected something much better - would not recommend."

"The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. "this was a stop off during a journey through France, this hotel served us well. The room was small but equipped and comfortable, breakfast was ample and staff very helpful. Excellent value for money and would recommend as a place to rest during a journey"
