"Arkadia is much more than a resort. It’s an experience. Imagine living like Robinson Crusoe on a pristine beach and a pristine jungle behind you. I booked 6 nights and was worried I might get bored. But I actually wish I could have stayed longer. In addition to simply decompressing and enjoying the beach there are plenty of things to do. I went on a snorkeling trip at nearby islands. Speargun fishing with the captain. Hiked to a native village and waterfalls. Went swimming in a fresh water...

"Lovely quiet resort right on the beachfront. The beach is very clean and clear. You are able to snorkel straight off the beach. There also is a small boat to hire. Delicious food at reasonable prices and fantastic sunsets. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Only cold water available, but not an issue in the heat. The room had a fan which was enough to keep cool at night. Lovely place. Highly recommended. "

"Staff is very good. They have canteen that serve very good food at cheap price. The area is clean and very accessable to the beach. The terminal for van going to anywhere is so near. They are very helpful. Looking to be back again."

"Friendly staff good location We felt this property was very run down and we didn’t want to stay there as it was quite dingy and depressing Stuck it for 2 nights and moved elsewhere for another her 5 nights and enjoyed port Barton Shame as this place with a bit of TLC could be a little gold mine - as it stands it’s 70% empty "

"Had to cross what seemed like a dried-up river or something to go to the central part of the beach. Overall, I'd still recommend the property. It's quiet, clean, and the staff are super friendly."

"All good, just troubles with check in - they let me wait until 2 pm saying that it is the time that the check in starts even though everywhere is written that it starts at 1 pm, very confusing and annoying to let you wait even though the room was already supposed to be ready!! No compensation for all the useless waiting kn the heat "

"I was sold accommodation that had been closed for some time and only got to know this when we turned up late at night after travelling for hours. The only positive was the owner fixed us up with somewhere else to stay "

"Toilet don’t flush, no hot water , internet is weak only works outside, , no A/C only Fan in one location. Stayed maybe less than 2 hours. Horrible. Will not Recommend to anybody.,"
