"These were hands down the most comfortable beds and pillows we've experienced on this trip to Europe, and the trip included stays at three Hiltons and several other Hilton properties. Breakfast at FH Witt is also slightly better than at some/most Euro Hiltons. Not way better, good variety but exceptional quality. Room service was amazing. Dozens of good-quality restaurants within 5 blocks. Parking is extremely easy, we parked right in front of the entrance for a few euros every evening....

"Lovely hotel, old feel. Dinner of soup salad and bread included, as well as breakfast. Walking distance to train and beautiful Kalmar Castle. Food was great, room lovely. Staff made all the difference—lovely and welcoming. This hotel is a gem!"

"This is a good hotel for families but for me it wasn’t a good experience as, unfortunately, I didn’t check if there was AC and the temperatures at that time were around 40 degrees, making it almost impossible to sleep. There was one small fan which was a joke. Too small to do any difference in the room. "Excellent value for money. The key benefits about the hotel is its location and the free breakfast which is very good. That said, the rooms are VERY small. The lighting in the room is inadequate, there is no closet or shelves for clothes and just 4 electrical outlets in the room very inconveniently places. "We’ve stayed here several times, location is lovely on the waterfront. Nice staff. The breakfast is wonderful and plentiful, the bar is nice, especially summertime. The rooms themselves are basic, pillows very flat, very thin towels, a very small glass for water. Absolutely nothing extra, nor even cosy, but comfortable enough to sleep. We’ve always had a water view, which is lovely. Our family lives walking distance from hotel, so it’s the location for us. "

"The pictures do not do it justice. If you are from North America this will give you the ultimate cozy Scandinavian vibe. The lighting, candles even during breakfast, and room decor was such a welcome in the cold rainy days in October. It was bare bones with no conditioner, shampoo, hair dryer but still simple, cozy with warm people working there. The beautiful library is across the street and great to see. So quick and easy to the downtown centre. Centrally located. We loved our stay!!"

"We had an amazing stay! Beautiful hotel location on the water! Not much to do for kids and we came as a family stay. The spa/pool is definitely on the spa side and less kid friendly. This is the perfect place to go for a romantic getaway! Love that so many walk around in robs to go to spa and relax. Wish we went for that so never ended up using the spa/pool.
