"Very nice place in a quiet scenic area. Facilities are great plus dining is very personable. Deducted a star due to a front desk member who was rude to me during check in(plus couldn’t locate our reservation the supervisor stepped in and took care of us). Also,our door lock needed repair (the maintenance guy there was top notch and saved the day by fixing our door). Aside from our check in woes this is a very nice place to stay and will probably stay here again."

Unfortunately the room was very cold 16 degrees and we had to use our winter coats inside all day - everything in the room was cold. On the second day we reach 18 degrees and 20 at the 3. day. We missed a couch or two good chairs with a table. "A great hotel if you are traveling through Bad Hersfeld on business or even if you just want to visit the beautiful old city. Within five/eight minute walk of the town’s historic sites. 10-12 minute walk from/to train station. New facilities. Nice staff. Good continental breakfast. "

"The water pressure in the shower was great but the attachments to hold the shower head could not handle the pressure which causes the shower hose to fly around or you have to hold it with one hand while trying to wash yourself. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay."
