"Two night stay for UIUC Mom’s Weekend. Though the Red Roof Inn is a bit dated and is a no frills hotel, I have to admit that the bed was very comfortable and my stay was nice and quiet. It served its purpose for a place for me to sleep after spending all day with my son on campus celebrating Mom’s weekend. It was an easy drive (about 10 mins) to campus. At check in, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was also friendly. It was a pleasant stay."

"We stayed here for soccer and was pleasantly surprised. It is close to the fields. If you have diet restrictions gluten, dairy…etc not a lot of options for breakfast (Continental Breakfast at hotel) but did have fresh oranges and always have a water dispenser out. If concerned about noise ask for second floor we could hear heavy feet above us at times but otherwise quiet. Lots of lamps, outlets for different lighting and charging options. Some reception issues with certain channels on TV. My travel companion complained about the bed, too hard, but I was fine. Comforter was a light sheet but can control window thermostat. "
