She was really nice and even recommended a book store for us to find a special book. The room was in ok condition, but the shower needed some work (some mold growing on the floor tiles around the drain). The bed was large, but a bit too hard for my taste. "Great hostel, the beds were spaced wide apart and the bunks very high, so had a feeling of space and privacy. The rooms were stylish and the shared facilities on the whole kept very clean. My only negative was that the air con unit in the dorm I stayed in was VERY loud, it felt like being the bowels of an ocean liner sailing third class by the engines. I got some earplugs which muffled the sound out, so wasn’t too bad the last two nights. "
