"The king bed room was absolutely the cleanest and spacious setting for a family owned property. The cherry furniture with microwave and refrigerator inside was extraordinary. So private and although highway 48 is close…we didn’t hear any cars or trucks!! I loved taking a hot bath also!! Views of the mountains are inspiring and breakfast was substantial….variety and convenient. We’ll return!"

"I traveled alone with my two young sons to the train in Romney, and his hotel option was clean, safe, welcoming and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and the cookies at checkin were a fun surprise! A wonderful option where there are only a few hotels. "

"Booked a cabin last minute during a snow storm for me and my two Border Collies. The owner actually called me to make sure that I knew it was a camping cabin - which I thought was super nice. He brought down a second heater in case the first one didn’t warm the cabin up enough. It was a camping cabin so rustic. "We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. "The cabin is beautiful! It was a private relaxing getaway. Everything was very clean and well organized. They had an information packet set out that answered most of our questions. It was really nice enjoying the peace and quiet by the fire drinking our wine."

"The inn was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. There is a sign for the inn at the road, but the building has no signage (not even on the door). We were not sure that we were at the correct place. Very close to the Potomac Eagle railroad."
