"It was very nice especially for the area it’s hard to find a nice clean place to lay your head in this part of Nicaragua. The room was very clean smelled good nice working air conditioner no complaints with the room at all. The staff was also very nice and helpful . "It would have been a good stay but the room the walls were dirty nasty and the club the music was so loud we barely were able to sleep music was every night until 6 am the staff was very attentive and great I don’t think I would stay there again"

"If you are a backpacker this might be okay for you, but was bad for us. The rooms are extremely hot with no AC and a small fan that does nothing. Leon is the hottest city in the country, and also breakfast was not included in room price. Cannot recommend, although staff seemed friendly and location was good."

"Casa de los Berrios is in the center of Leon, the owner is a very nice lady that helped me with everything, even let me stay a few hours after check out. The room was clean, the place has a lot of greenery and birds. Feels like a nature in town :)"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sleeping Dog. The room was a good size and all the beds were new and comfortable. The kitchen was large and clean and perfect for self catering and there was a nice area to eat or chill. Breakfast pancakes went down a treat and the management and staff were all friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to all."
