"A fair value hotel clise to the entrance to the city walls. If you have a car there is free public parking close to the hotel. It was cold and the heat and the room was controlled by the owner. It was on in the evening - turned off overnighr and on the next morning. Okay for a one night stay."

"Unfortunately Expedia fouled up our booking so when we arrived there was no room for us. It appears this is not the first time it had happened and the hotel manager were very embarrassed. However, the hotel manager was marvellous, he found and booked us into another hotel, about five miles away, which turned out to be excellent. We returned to Oasis the next day for lunch and had a superb meal."

We therefore had NO accommodation for a Saturday night in a tourist town! The Hotel told us they have NO dealings with Expedia. "Nice and cosy hotel. Excellent as a "place to rest and refuel": I used it as a stepping stone towards my destination which was up north. Not much to see or do in the surroundings. Staff is enough friendly, rooms are clean. The restaurant on site is very nice, food is acceptable."
