"B&B hotel is near a busy road. However, once the door is closed, we could not hear the noise from the cars. The hotel is in front of a shopping centre, which is very convenient for buying breakfast on the go (as we did). "The only problems were around access codes after the reception had closed. Your code could not be used so I had to use the help line. And the barrier needed a new key board as the buttons were worn. Each button had to be pressed hard and you had to do it very slowly. "

"The manager of the hotel was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The room was basic but spotless. The building was old and had some little querks such as "the hill" on our landing just before our room door 😆. The lift was "compact" and just a little cranky at times, but it worked ..... mostly! Absolutely ideal location for the ferry terminal amd for touring the local area. Sadly for got to take pics of the hotel."

"Basic hotel in a town where hotels are expensive so reasonably happy with value for money. Ideal for train station and citadel only a 15 min walk away. I did not have breakfast or need parking. The staff are friendly enough though with limited English, and Housekeeping was very thorough. The wifi worked fine after an early glich that reception soon fixed. A kettle in the room would have made the stay even better but quite happy with choice."
