"Very friendly welcome and service "

"Basic hotel in a town where hotels are expensive so reasonably happy with value for money. Ideal for train station and citadel only a 15 min walk away. I did not have breakfast or need parking. The staff are friendly enough though with limited English, and Housekeeping was very thorough. The wifi worked fine after an early glich that reception soon fixed. A kettle in the room would have made the stay even better but quite happy with choice."

There was a parking challenge which was not a surprise given the reality of the walled city. The hotel advertised a parking facility which was not available but public parking was nearby outside the city and worked well. "This is a lovely family owned hotel in a beautiful location. We had dinner and breakfast and both were great and good value. The owner couldn't have been more friendly and all staff were really lovely towards our dog as well. "
