"Thankfully they accept dogs, and charge what I think is a reasonable amount of $25, after paying $75.00 at the Hampton Inn, Wilkes Barre. Was prepared for the well used conditions. Group of wild cyclists kept us up until 8:00 pm"

"The motel was very nice, stayed many times. but like most motels shows it age. NOT filthy but just old. Bed was comfortable and desk personal were VERY nice. "

"Rooms are simple and clean. If you get a room at the front dont worry about noise. There is no traffic on the road at night. The desk clerk recommended Public House next door to eat. Do go there. The food is excellent. Very much a cut above regular pub fare. I would make a detour to eat there again."

"We've stayed in quite a few hotels over the years - this by far was our best experience. We are in the WRJ area frequently and now this will always be our go-to hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, the lobby welcoming with fruit and cookies, the staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and comfortable. "The hotel is nice but expensive compared to other stays on our trip. There was nothing special about this hotel other than it met our needs for the night. I understand now why the parking lot is empty. Rates are high even for this area. "

"Proprietor is a nice fellow, the motel was dog-friendly -- but charged at $15/day fee not listed in Expedia site. Field near motel with long grass and lupins -- great for quick dog walks. Patrons in other rooms screaming angrily at each other in the middle of the night. Room needs hooks at door for coats, needs more/better lighting, needs opening for front window to get cross-ventilation, needs more electrical outlets. Loud traffic most hours."
