"We were very impressed on how clean this place was. It was well supplied with cooking items, towels, linens, and anything else you would need. Originally, my GPS took us to the wrong rental and when I called the rental company, the lady who assisted us was very nice and got us to the correct address. The only thing I would mention is the staircase going down stairs needs to have grip tape or equivalent applied because my son in law slipped on the stairs. They stairs are very slippery especially...

"This house was perfect for us 3. The shower upstairs was not working. But the shower downstairs was wonderful.I think a rug should be placed at front door as it was muddy and wet. We did not want to track into the house. This picture was taken on the New River while I was out learning to fly fish with my father. The one thing that I really take away from this picture is how peaceful it is. I think that this represents the Appalachia region because for the most part this river has always been here. At one point it was someones way of catching food for their family, or a way for them to travel to different places down the river. But, today it was the river that let me enjoy time with my father without the distractions of technology or the busy world around us. This river will probably continue to be here long after we are gone, but one thing is for certain it will always be apart of Appalachia’s identity. #appalachianechos
