"This is a beautiful old house that has been nicely kept up. Kingfield in a nice small town in western Maine. The hostel is in downtown within easy walking distance of good restaurants. "We had a wonderful time in spite of gray skies and rain. The cabin was cozy and we loved hearing the ducks in the morning and the loon in the evening. Even had a family of deer with 2 fawns in the yard eating apples. Being right on the water was great for relaxing and enjoying the quiet which was what I needed! Walked into town in between rain showers, ate a lot of good food and ice cream! Would definitely come back again!"
