"The hotel is clean and does the job if you are only staying for sleep. The pool is a bit cold, and the pool towels are small. There are no rooms to accomodate a group (we had a wedding to attend, and family from out of town)."

"I grew up in Defiance, OH as did my spouse. We usually stay with my mom when we visit for the holidays but this time an elderly aunt got mom’s guest room so we debated as to either getting a hotel room for multiple days or a VRBO. I am very glad we chose staying at The General’s Quarters. It is a cozy place, with a lot of references to General Anthony Wayne, the inevitable founder of Defiance, OH. A perfect place for two or a family to stay at when visiting this city of 20,000 in NW OH."

"Good - It was cheap, clean towels. Overall, was what expected for the price. Bad - room was "non-smoking" but had ashtray and about midnight cigarette smoke was rolling under the adjoining doorway from the office...had to get up and pile bath towels around base of door to try and minimize the stank. Desperately need new pillows - would be better with a bath towel!"
