"I enjoyed my brief stay at St Mellion’s. The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean and tastefully decorated for the festive period. The bed was huge and the bathroom had plenty of towels and handwash/shower gel etc. Although there weren’t many gluten free options on the restaurant menu, the staff were helpful and made me a GF steak and chips which was perfectly cooked. The cooked breakfast was all GF and a very generous portion. I would definitely stay again. "

"Hotels was in a great location and suited my needs. The room although only a single was spacious and comfortable and equipped with everythihg you needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fitness suite was great and had the use to it during my stay. The joined restaurant was spot on with a good selection of meals. Even a complimentry drink. "Wonderful country house hotel in about 200 acres of stunning grounds. Lots of outdoorsy things to do. The sitting rooms are glorious with open fires and the staff are attentive and there are lots of little touches that make the hotel stand out. The food is excellent, eat in the Great Western Restaurant if you can. Breakfast excellent. "

"Stayed for 2 nights with my 10 year old daughter and nearly 80 year old mother and both felt catered for and had a lot of fun. The food was excellent, however waiting staff in the evening were a little slow. The activities and facilities are vast. We were fortunate to have Liam as our Activity lead and he was absolutely brilliant. Patient, funny, spoke to each age group with the right level of explanations and despite no one knowing each other in each class, by the end we were all championing...
