"If you don't have transportation please bear on mind that from the train station to the hostel it's a 15 min walk uphill which for some people it can be a little bit difficult. The restaurant was the best. Full meal and a beer for 15 Euro. Friendly staff. "

"Busy and large hostel. They have people coming and going for community events all the time. Its a large concrete building and the heat wasn't adjustable by room it was just set for the building overall and set too cold for january. Breakfast was top notch though and if you are in a large group of traveller's this place would be easy. Quite a walk to the train station but worth it to save a buck. "

"Clean and simple hotel just 10 mins walk from Plaça de Catalunya (the main square). Right around the corner from Gaudí's Casa Batllo and the Paseig de Gracia for shopping. The room was clean and the bathroom was a good size with a decent shower. There's a safe and a fridge in the room. Can get a bit noisy with doors slamming and you can hear the rumble of the metro at times, but it's not a game changer. "I loved this hotel so much! The area was very scenic and walkable, the hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodated us when we needed to drop off our bags before check in. Our room also had a gorgeous view of the city. The only small problem we had was gnats in the restroom, which may have been related to the window in there, but other than that the property was very clean."
