"As someone who travels for work and regularly stays in hotels a week at a time, I found my room to be very functional with nice amenities for living and doing my work. The spacious walk-in shower was an unexpected treat. My only complaint is that there was short body hair on the bathroom floor that was not my own. A quick swiffering would have fixed that."

"The stay was actually excellent, but there was something’s that needed improving. Some outlets didn’t work on top plugs, but the bottom one did. The remote wasn’t programmed for the tv. An seemed like it could use another light in the room cause it was awful dark when the 2 were on. "

"The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and polite even maid was polite and did excellent job with making sure hotel was cleaned orderly. Only issue I had was for a room that had two guest in one room they only had one desk chair that rolled and any time you moved in it even a little it creaked and made nose that disnget annoying after while and eventually one of just sat on bed with back against wall and other one sat on floor back against bed. "Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private. We can’t wait to go back. We were able to take our golden retriever who loves all things woods and water. Wish we could have stayed longer! "
