So, we chose to buy an insect spray ourselves. There was no hair dryer. Some fixture need refurbishment like the bathroom vanity. Overall, it was a good stay. The staff in the morning where friendly."

It is only an hour and a half from Auckland airport despite being quite out of the way in amongst hilly sheep farms. Everything was wonderful...views, decor, food. The main lodge and the cabins have been beautifully decorated. Cabins are large with ample living area including a fireplace and a large bathroom with double shower and spa tub. "Amazing location, loungers on the beach, fabulous beach front alfresco dining, on site restaurant served great food with a homely touch. Service was impeccable yet casual and friendly. Large rooms, nice bathrooms. The fit out of the room is nice but fairly basic if comparing to a 4-5 star hotel"
