"This place is an oasis! Surrounded by amazing rock formations, the tented cabins are all built into the side of giant boulders. Great views from your private deck. The restaurant is place on another rocky prominance, the food and drink very good. The staff was so nice and helpful. We took the sunset nature drive which was very pleasant and our driver very knowledgeable. There is a good amount of birdlife and other non dangerous wildlife, so it is safe to walk the trails in the area. Spectacular...

"We had a nice night at Khan River Lodge. The bed and cottage were comfy and the staff was very kind. It is a two hour ride from Windhoek to the town and a forty five minute ride down a terrible dirt road to get to the hotel. Also we had no WiFi until a guest of the hotel reset the router, and then again it was only by the office that we were able to receive it."
