"Alive was a great host and very kind and helpful, the breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in my travels, the room is super comfortable which was not expected from seeing the area around. It’s in a very run down area of Havana but do not worry it is super safe and I walked around at night so don’t let this put you off. There is some great bars close by and very friendly people "

"Yuni was very helpful to us throughout our stay. She arranged for transportation, provided recommendations for activities and changed money for us. A lovely breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, toast, juice and coffee was served each morning. Our rooms were cleaned daily. Shower pressure and water temperature was great! Air conditioning worked well. We felt very safe."
