"Everyone that works there is amazing! It is very clean and i never saw a bug, which is big for me. There is no separation from the shower and toilet but it works. The shower water wasn’t hot but warm felt good. It’s not fancy but we didn’t come for that. We came to explore the island and fell in love with the people. If you are expecting a Hilton, this isn’t for you. We enjoyed our stay immensely. "

"There is absolutely no staff in this property. There is only a Chinese couple who looks after this so called hotel. They don't even speak proper English and it is very difficult to converse with them. There was no room service, no daily room make up and no room management at all. The breakfast was made by that Chinese guy who only gave me limited food in a single plate. Absolutely pathetic place to stay. I will not recommend this to anyone."

"Not a place to stay if you like hot or warm showers. There was hot water sometimes, but never when I wanted it. Not satisfactory for what they are charing. It was good to have a fridge in the room, and a jug for heating water, but there was no way to prepare or even heat foods; not even a microwave"

"We loved our stay here. We loved the simple Tongan style accommodation. There are only 3 fales set in beautiful tropical gardens where guests are allowed to pick their own pawpaw and coconuts. It is private, secure and quiet, set beside the best snorkelling beach in Tonga with the use of kayaks. The coral is amazing to the right of the beach but you need to be careful to go when it’s calmer and lower tide. We saw whales swim past from the family unit we were staying in. "We went to the Royal Sunset with 6 of our Tongan young friends who help us at a humanitarian clinic we work in. We are leaving Tonga and wanted to thank them for all they do. We decided to spend the night at the Royal Sunset. The rooms were filthy. The linens were stained and the rooms were unbearably hot. The pool water was brown. Of the 3 kayaks that were available for use, 2 took on water as soon as you pulled them into the ocean. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our lunch and we were...
