"Very friendly and accommodating reception. Easy to find if you put the number 28 with the address. That is the restaurant outside the gate. Breakfast was lovely and access to the A26 for Calais was quick. It is a budget hotel but at a very good standard."

"This is clearly a hotel geared up to accommodate truck drivers and others that have no other requirement than a bed for the night close to the motorway. Almost no evidence of staff and no one to call on in the event that you have an issue. It was not a pleasant room and smelled of damp. "

"The hotel was opposite Lens train station so ideal for the RWC trip we had. The hotel didnt open after lunch until 2pm... on the details it said 1.30pm & on the door of the hotel 1pm. The lady was very welcoming once she arrived though. Very basic room & the bed wasn't very comfortable.... our sons single bed was comfy.p"

"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. Stay away! Nice area, but not...

"Second time I've stayed here. Convenient for the golf course and supermarket and a pleasant walk into a lovely town. Along with some places in Normandy, Bethune is the friendliest place that my Friends and I have found in France. Very good breakfast and nice Lady on reception - plus Thomas the cat. We booked for 4 adults and we were given just one bath towel. There was loads of dirt and built up dust on surfaces, along baseboards, and under the sofa bed when we opened it.
