"We loved our six night stay at Hotel Tshuggen and Grindelwald. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We had a room on the first floor with a balcony and a beautiful view out to Mt Eiger. It was a short walk to the train station which gave us access to most of the attractions and ski fields, and a short walk in the opposite direction to FirstBahn. "This property was wonderfully convenient to the bus and train stop…I mean within 2-3 minutes. That was so nice. And it was clean and the door locked and we had the things we needed. Ausserberg was very quiet with nothing going on in the evenings and no restaurants or anything. There was a small grocery spot but it was closed. But, it did have cool old buildings. Wonderful little balcony we could sit out on. The price was right. We enjoyed our stay. But…there was no one un sight. They...

"We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. "
