"This place had an amazing staff. They were very friendly and genuinely seemed to care. The place is a tad out of date and seems to run on a budget, but the place seemed loved. Each of the rooms are decorated differently in little funky themes, but is well done. It looks like someone took a lot of thought and time to make it special. The breakfast was fine and our stay was good as well. It was a nice, clean roadside stay. "

"The breakfast options were awesome! The hotel was clean and the staff was super helpful. Location is great across from Zorbaz and we were even lucky enough to be there during Spicer’s winter fest! Super great environment!"

"The owners were fantastic - very responsive and friendly. They were very thoughtful with little extras to make the stay special. We enjoyed the lake and the deck and the location is great for all the fun spots in the Spicer area. Plenty of space for our family of 6. We had a wonderful time!"

"Meet up with adult children for a weekend. Very well appointed, warm and cozy. Fireplace was an added plus. Great screened in porch (sorry it wasn't warm enough to use it). Comfortable furniture. Wildlife abound even heard a loon in March!"

"Perfect weekend. Happened to be Litchfield’s town celebration. Enjoyed the fireworks display from the dock. Would suggest bumpers on corner of dock. Nice quiet area. Dogs liked the back yard."

"We enjoyed our stay here. It's a beautiful little house with almost everything you need for a lovely lakeside vacation. The fridge-freezer is smaller than your standard size, but it easily held three days' worth of food with plenty of room to spare. Unless you're trying to pack a few cases of beer in there, I feel sure that you could fit enough food for an entire week. "This house was perfect for our family stay. Beds were comfortable. Toiletries and towels were well-stocked. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was very quick to answer any questions. We would definitely stay here again!"
