"This property is a scam. We booked and paid for 3 rooms thru Expedia. When we arrived they only have one room for our reservation. They want to push us to stay at their other property. Their other property is dirty and small. We flew thousands of miles to experience a homestay in the beautiful Sapa rice fields. Being weekend all the nice home stays were all booked. We had to hire a taxi to take back into town to find a decent hotel. I have never give any hotel a bad review. I don’t want anyone...

"We stayed in Sapa for 2 nights and we were glad to picked this homestay. The young owner and his family were absolutely friendly and helpful with all requests we had (super nice guided trekking tour, transfer back to hanoi, food, ...) and we felt very welcoming there. There is not much to do around the homestay but you should know this in advance already when you want to stay in tavan and the view and quiteness there is worth it."
