"Lovely location and good hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, hallways were very noisy/creeky and stairwells were dated. Good bar area and restaurant, with a very good breakfast. Unfortunately the evening meal service was not available, no prior notice was given of this and alternative plans had to be made."

"Bearing ion mind that is a 2 star hotel and exceptionally well priced, I would say my stay was closer to 3 stars than 2. The lift was not working on arrival and I had to climb to the 3rd floor with my suitcase and backpack. I have a major health issue and this was tough. The hotel is generally run down and shabby, but the staff are pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. Housekeeping was quite poor and only the bare minimum was done. The room was comfortable and there was plenty of tea,...
