The location was great and centralized to so many things. The car parking is a 5 minutes walk to the hotel and safe. We will definatly stay here if wecome back to Tours."

"Hotel Vendôme is an old-fashioned place, situated in the heart of the city, very close to the Tour railway station. My room was located separately from the others, it was big, clean, quiet and comfortable, but had no WiFi, and so, every time I needed to connect to the internet I had to go to the breakfast area. I felt sorry to bother the owners with this, particularly early in the morning, but I needed the latest weather forecast and train timetable info and so, I had no choice. But all in all,...

"We stopped for one night, the hotel was fine but quite basic, our room was very small and a little dated, plus the bed quite hard. However, all the staff were very friendly and despite having little English (and us having little French) we warmly welcomed. Our room and the public areas were very clean and despite what other reviews have said, the area felt quite safe. The hotel is well located, a short walk to restaurants and bars, very near the railway station but also quiet at night."
