" Self check in. Cool! Fine for a one night stay. Feels like an undecorated dorm room. No frills like blow dryer, coffee pots etc. It was very clean Air condition barely or not working so opened windows and endured alot of road noise and humidity (it was raining). Might get hot in late summer Construction work next door with loud tapping started early in the morning. Super annoying. Directions on parking not clear. "A very old stone building very nicely renovated and modernized. Our room had small windows but the stone fireplace and old sink were gorgeous; the A/C worked great. We had the hotel breakfast one morning--it was fine, reasonable cost; but there are plenty of cafés nearby as well. Alda corp evidently runs several similar hotels in Santiago. "
