"Alora is a bustling little town nestled on a hill and the room I had overlooked the old Moorish fort on the adjoining hill. Beautiful ! The hotel was basic but spotlessly clean and the owners Paco and Monica were lovely. And great value for the single traveller "

"I can't deny the room is ok but half of the lights don't function. Reception is another story !! He's good guy but doesn't speak English!!! Its basically restaurant with some rooms upstairs! This place is in the middle of nowhere .. not my choice back"

"Olivier was a wonderful host. He carried my bag upstairs for me! The pool/garden are and patio next to our room were very comfortable places to relax. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious down to the freshly made crepes with himemade compotes. Free parking right next to the house. "

"Its a bit out of the way for visitors without a car using public transport, but with a car it was fantastic. The only negative is that the neighbouring room occupants were noisy entering and exiting the property late at night and early in the morning. Limited dining options (variety) nearby"

"We very much enjoyed our 6 night stay, very clean & comfortable, the food was excellent & very traditional, the staff were lovely & very helpful, some speak English and French. The nearest village Trabuco is well worth a visit, Wednesdays there's a street market & the countryside around impressive, good for walkers. "Super basic, as you would expect for the price. Outside the hotel was a mess by the bins. Service basic/non existent. You pay for what you get here. Noisy right next to main motorway. Water in the shower came out of the pipe not the shower head."
