"Excellent service, awesome decor and fantastic food. Our in hotel experience was really, really good. The car service arranged by the travel desk was also excellent. We however did not have a good experience with the guide arranged by the travel desk. We were more interested in sightseeing but the guide was more interested in taking us shopping. Very pushy and very, very exhausting. We would recommend that you use the car service and recommendations for places to visit from the travel desk but...

"Gorgeous property with a palace, surrounding beautiful grounds and a huge lake. There are too many features to list. The highlight of the trip was the abundant wildlife in the property grounds. We saw peacocks, owlets, gray langurs and many others. We stayed at the retail suite in the palace and it was a wonderful experience. "This feels like a harsh rating, after seeing so many high ratings, but I was pretty disappointed with my stay here. I visited many other Havelis in Jodhpur, to eat at their rooftop restaurants, and all of them were cleaner, had more staff working, and had other people staying there. "Good hotel for the price, and—they’re not kidding—it’s an amazing view of the Fort. Helpful staff, and very conveniently located. Just a couple minutes walk to the clock tower and the main markets, even if the few roads right around it are decidedly unlovely. Only complaint: they have local musicians and dancing every night at dinnertime.
