"The manager of the hotel was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The room was basic but spotless. The building was old and had some little querks such as "the hill" on our landing just before our room door 😆. The lift was "compact" and just a little cranky at times, but it worked ..... mostly! Absolutely ideal location for the ferry terminal amd for touring the local area. Sadly for got to take pics of the hotel."

"B&B hotel is near a busy road. However, once the door is closed, we could not hear the noise from the cars. The hotel is in front of a shopping centre, which is very convenient for buying breakfast on the go (as we did). "This was quite frankly the worst hotel stay we have had. Not because the room was poor, but because we never saw the owner. We were given a code and let ouselves in. "Very helpful, polite and friendly staff. The room was spacious clean with very comfy beds. Very quiet as it was facing the interior court. Some parts were a bit outdated but I guess still functional (we struggled a bit closing down the window) and some bits were missing just thick courtians but nothing to frost the windows without having it completely dark. "The accommodation was comfortable but in need of some renovation. The bedding and towels were very oldFashioned and not very luxurious. There was plenty of communal space and coffee facilities. Safe parking on premises. It is an annex of a larger hotel and facilities- breakfast and pool are quite a walk- again not clear from the advert."
