"Our stay could not have been more perfect. Check-in was easy and the receptionist spoke English fluently. She helped us coordinate an early check out the next morning as well as a porter to meet us at 5 AM to bring our items to the parking area and meet our taxi. "Casa Lila is a simply beautiful 300 year old riad, within the walls of the medina, an easy walk to everywhere in Essaouira. The people who work there are warm, lovely and welcoming- they are so helpful, and they love their city. We had a wonderful stay."

"A really nice riad with very good and helpful staff and a beautiful roof top restaurant. Very good food. The bathroom needed updating and the shower above the bath hit the window instead of the bath so was difficult to use (room 311) Breakfast was the same each morning which could be monotonous after 2. A wonderful location though and very nicely presented. "

"We had such a good stay at Dar Loulema! Our family of four stayed in a larger room with a private terrace, overlooking the sea. The room was beautifully designed, with a modern nautical theme and separate spaces for parents and for kids. Pure fantasy! The breakfasts on the terrace were a treat, and the staff was so nice. It was also conveniently located - close to everything while being easy to get to. There was some noise from the nearby club and mosque, but with earplugs, no issue at all....

"Dar Cherazade is very walkable to all tourist attractions. It’s only ten mins from the beach, 2 mins from rampants & about to to La Skala & the fishing port. You are right in the Medina. The property was very clean & quiet with beautiful views of the ocean. It is windy in essaouira but the beach side is a lot less & you can rent beach beds for 2.50€ pp for a full day on the first spot on the beach. Thanks to the staff & Imad for help with our bags & lovely breakfast & room cleaning. "

"The rooms are stunning and beautiful with the tile mosaics and artwork along with the rooftop for sunset and dinner! We were lucky to enjoy live entertainment while having a delicious dinner by the tiled wall overlooking the ocean. Also enjoyed an included breakfast with amazing service. "Very nice Riad within minutes of the main square. Friendly staff and excellent rooftop breakfast. Rooms and common areas are not as polished as the pictures would suggest but not in bad shape either - decent and everything works. Complimentary water would be helpful in the rooms. "

"The property was well located and the breakfast was excellent! The staff was friendly and nice. The only issue was being asked to pay city tax when it had already been included. Not the fault of the staff. The management should have informed them. "

"I’ve stayed here a couple of times - very nice dar, well kept, clean and decent. Great location. Would recommend. The service was a little off this time with the ladies a bit distracted chatting in the kitchen. And the young lad helping missing delivery of breakfast things. A few of us solo guests had to chase for things having waited for a decent amount of time Both on days when there was a big group and after the group had left the next day. Still all round a very nice place to stay. "

"First of all, we were supposed to stay at the Riad , once we got there, we were told that the room we reserved they are doing construction on it , we were given an apartment outside of the Riad in a scary neighborhood, the apartment sheets , blankets and pillows so stinky! When we ask the lady that we don’t want to stay here , she simply responds with you can cancel if you want, on the top of that , they asked us to pay fee that it’s called a property taxes cash , which it’s already paid in the beginning that I have it in the confirmation invoice! They are scammers, not honest, they zero customer service ( not recommended at all ) "
