"We stayed 3 nights @ Dave Parkers Eco Lodge. The lodge is located on a mountain with wonderful views of the City of Apia & Ocean, surrounded by lush green forest, flowers and trees. The Lodge is secluded and quite. Great place if you want to chill out and relax but not convenient if you are interested in doing tours or coming into Apia everyday. But they do provide shuttle 5/6 days a week, leaving @ 8:30am and returning @ 3:00PM. The lodge is outdated. It has a small 22" TV on the wall, 1 Queen...

"URGENT: do not stay unless you want you room to be broken into and all you money/ items stolen by the owners kids and family. On my last night after an amazing trip in Samoa I took a shower in this time the owner's son and nephew broke into my room stealing over $700 tala and items. This was denied by the whole family and water works put on knowing I had to leave in a few hours to the airport to fly back to Australia. "Aniva is a great host and the ladies that help her are lovely. The breakfast is very nice, the rooms clean and it's nice and close to Apia. The beds were a little hard for my taste but not terribly so, the shower is great and the pool is a delight in the heat, even though it's over-chlorinated. Definitely pay the extra for A/C (it's a must for sleeping in the heat) and I would recommend paying in advance at the quoted price as there is a small discrepancy in the exchange rate if paying when you...
