"I have award a 5 star based on the budget nature of the hotel. It is great for access to the ferry terminal. Our room was clean as was the bathroom and although compact it provided a good night's sleep at a very competitive rate. The receptionist was excellent (Veronique I think). She was helpful prior to and upon our arrival and spoke English to us as my schoolgirl French isn't up to much! We didn't use the restaurant at all so cannot comment. "

"WARNING - You may have problems checking in out of hours if you have local taxes still to pay!!! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and although a little on the small side, it was bigger than some we stayed in. We arrived just after reception had closed and tried checking in on the machine, however it would not let me. Luckily the reception staff were still around, and they were lovely, despite knowing little english. The problem was the outstanding local taxes. These couldn't be paid on...
