"Just returned home from a lovely stay at The Sandrock in Lynton. The Sandrock is a little out of the way of the main high street but still only a 5 minute walk to the shops etc. We stayed in room 4 which was clean and well appointed, the en suite was spacious (huge infact!)and the towels really fluffy, it was also super clean and tidy. The room had lots of little extras to make it cosy and homely. The bed was really, REALLY comfy, so much so that even my partner who usually struggles when we are...

"We stayed for 6 nights and had a great time. The hut was fully equipped with everything you need and was very cosy. We didn’t have the best weather but we lit the log burner and we’re lovely and warm. The area is absolutely beautiful and we had several long walks and runs. The night sky was amazing. As there’s no light pollution you can see so many stars. It’s quite remote but there is a shop about 15 minute walk away. We enjoyed being away from it all. "

"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"Lovely clean property with enough space for 2 cars on the drive. Good location for a range of supermarkets and other shops. There were a few things missing from the kitchen such as a jug and baking trays and no washing machine but otherwise had what we needed. The only downfall was the garden, there's no garden furniture and it could do with a tidy up but that wasn't an issue for us."

"Moorlands was perfect for us as they don’t allow dogs. Beautiful location lovely sea views and very peaceful. Impeccably clean and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The hosts mark and desi were very friendly and accommodating and like old friends upon meeting them and we can’t wait to stay again as it’s perfect for exploring the coastal paths."

"Nice place, beautiful views, quiet and remote. The road up to the cottage is poor so if it’s raining be mindful that you car is likely to get covered in mud and your suspension will take a hammering unless you’re in a 4x4. Electric heating throughout but worth taking some blankets as there wasn’t any provided and the duvets are summer ones. Didn’t hear from all see the host but their number was available if I wanted to make contact. Town centre is 10 mins away, plenty of great places to eat...
