"Once you're in the room, its very clean and has everything you need. But the exterior is off-putting with a fence around the facility and only one way in/out. We made the mistake of staying several nights thinking the location would be convenient, but working with the limitations of the autoroute was challenging... either using the help button and paying a high toll or taking a long path around and needing to walk through several gates and around the building to get to the room."

"Comfortable, clean, basic hotel. Staff is eager to please. Breakfast (extra 10 euros) is excellent. But, hotel is on 3rd and 4th floors, up fairly steep steps. There is a SMALL sign in the street floor lobby offering staff to carry luggage up, but it is so small we saw it only after we had manhandled our luggage all the way up. IF you take advantage of this service, the hotel’s location is not an issue. Otherwise, travel light. "

"We stopped for one night, the hotel was fine but quite basic, our room was very small and a little dated, plus the bed quite hard. However, all the staff were very friendly and despite having little English (and us having little French) we warmly welcomed. Our room and the public areas were very clean and despite what other reviews have said, the area felt quite safe. The hotel is well located, a short walk to restaurants and bars, very near the railway station but also quiet at night."

"I really loved this property. I am 75 years old and was a Solo traveler for two nights in Tours. Its proximity to the train station was perfect and the staff were cordial and very informative. I would stay here again and heartbeat and would recommend it unconditionally. It didn't have a lift so I asked for a room on the first or second floor and that accommodation was made for me. My sister and brother-in-law will be visiting in the spring and I will absolutely recommend Hotel Ronsard and the...
