"Room was very small - loft room so you could not stand up straight from toilet or at head of bed. We did not realise the size of the room but the it was very clean. There are bigger rooms available which were sold out when we booked but we did not realise just how small the room would be. No air conditioning but we requested a fan. Just a single window in the ceiling. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Lovely restaurant attached to hotel and right on beach which was really great."

"No pudimos disfrutar de la chimenea en pleno mes de enero aunque lo solicitamos expresamente. Nos dijeron que no había muchos huéspedes y no la iban a encender. Vimos que la casa estaba llena. Tampoco nos enseñaron la zona de estar de la planta de abajo para descansar un poco después de estar todo el día fuera. Eran las siete y media de la tarde y ellos tenían previsto marcharse. Les pedimos que al menos nos indicaran dónde encender y apagar la luz para no estar encerrados en la habitación todo...

"No hemos alojado un fin de semana una pareja con el niño. Apartamento amplio, muy limpio, moderno, seguro y ni un solo ruido. Un baño completo con un jacuzzi muy grande. La cama y el sofá cama súper cómodos y muy grandes. En general muy contentos con la experiencia y con la atención ya que son muy amables. "

"I had an enjoyable stay for two nights in the hostel. Shower facilities were great and the bunk bed was very comfortable. I was a bit cold during the night and asked for a 2nd light blanket for the second night which I was given. A good area for drying your clothes and also nice seating areas to chat in. Staff were great and very helpful. The only enhancements that for me would be nice is free tea and coffee facilities during the day (as with other hostels), maybe a light continental breakfast...

"Nice hotel. Big bedroom. Comfy bed. Breakfast ok. Location great for restaurants and beaches. On a rainy day take the train to Santander from Barreda. Quick and cheap and free parking at the station. "

"Best place to rest and plenty of hiking trails to mountains or 12th century villages. This Campoo valley has world class unparalleled romanic churches. The most common sound is cow bells as they move around green pastures. Hidden gem. Almost afraid of too many people discovering it."
