"Location is everything here. Property is quaint but lovely. Staff are very nice and helpful. Close to everything. Dining options in the area (walkable) are awesome. Wi-Fi and water pressure could both be better. Water pressure is the thing that lowered the review. But I would go back in a heartbeat. "

"The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain."

"Our room had some drawbacks, like many gaps between the roof and walls that enable insects to go inside, but we used our own mosquito net and we were safe to sleep quietly. The second night ants invaded our room, we were offered to be moved to another room, but we were ok with the solution to spray them as we weren't in the mood to pack all our belongings. "Excellent accommodation: Room, grounds, and common area are beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Staff were friendly & helpful. Only problem was issue with hot water heater the day of our stay. "

"Gino was very helpful. Room was ok but tired. We had to have Gino take our luggage up the hill in his 4 wheel drive truck. The town is dumpy with narrow dirt road. Dinning was fine. Snorkeling was great, BUT it requires a 1.5 hour ride each way in open water in a 20’ boat. On the way out we sat in the front of the boat. About every 5 minutes the boat smash down with me wondering if the boat and my back were going to break. Sit in the back of boat! "

"We stayed in one of the larger cabins and had a wonderful, laid back Panama beach stay! We loved our cottage, being on the beach, relaxing in our hammocks on the porch, and chatting with the lovely waiter when we had our meals. The meals were great, too! This is a fun, relaxing place to stay when you just want to kick back and live on a beach! Can't wait to stay longer next time!"
