"The hotel was a little walk from downtown, but I felt comfortable walking through the neighborhoods at night. It was very easy to walk from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to downtown Villach. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful; the manager was positively the best. She gave me great recommendations and was very quick in responding to my emails. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to meet her to thank her in person. "

"The Gasperin is a pleasant hotel in an attractive area. The weather was cloudy and wet for most of our stay. The room we were in was on the ground floor and quite dark which might have been ok if it was sunny but it wasn’t. The area is pretty and although the hotel doesn’t offer evening meals there is a reasonable selection of places to eat nearby. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. The sun started to shine as we left and the lake was breathtaking. "
