"We had a great nights stay on the ocean Mist, the staff were great and very knowledgeable on the local area, where best to eat. It was also good to get a run down on the history of the boat. Very easy to get the Tram 5 mins walk away to the city centre. We. Would highly recommend the boat to stay on. Thanks folks. John & Chris Johnston 👍"

"Edinburgh is very over priced when it comes to hotel rooms. I managed to get this room quite cheap so expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. All the things that you want to be good were good. VERY CLEAN (room and linen) although a shared bathroom, it was a very clean and spacious one. Very very friendly staff. The room furniture was dated a little, but judging a chest of drawers holds no point, as long as it is clean and not broken. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The Hostel is in a great walkable area near Grassmarket Edinburgh. Lots of local pubs and shops within blocks. Great location. Compared to another hostel I stayed at in Glasgow, the Kick Ass had clean bathrooms, usable showers with good pressure & hot water. Having a pub downstairs with food was quick and convenient. Overall, a great and affordable place to stay if you dont mind bunking with other travelers. Everyone was nice and respectful in the dorms. No issues at all. "

The location was fantastic, in the middle of the city centre. Unfortunately, it is an old building and sound travels around it. "Great little hostel with all the bells and whistles that you might need. Minimal staff, but everything is clear for check-in and check-out. This is an excellent option if you are a solo traveller looking for something a little more quiet than a rowdy party hostel. The bunks and bathrooms were very clean!
