"This was a pleasant stay during our trip. The staff I met were both friendly and pleasant ladies. This is an older style motel which I prefer. The room was clean and large with bed and bath, a kitchenette and dining/lounge area on the first floor. "The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the employees courteous. Liked having a full size fridge with a freezer. Breakfast was good and had a variety of offerings. Our had a few issues in the room. No way to turn off the red blinking light in the phone even though the receptionist cleared the messages. We just covered it with a folded wash cloth. The door to the restroom had a chunk missing from it. The a/c- heating unit made a high pitched squeal every time the fan stopped running....
