"I've stayed here multiple times to visit family over the past 5 to 6 years. The hotel seems to be lacking in maintenance as the years pass. Its still relatively clean, but lights not working in the rooms has become the norm. Missing/broken towel racks, water damaged window frames, and ripped window screens are a few things I saw on this trip. This is supposedly a nonsmoking motel, but the smell of cigarettes was strong in the hallway. This is a first for me to experience as I've seen the...

"The nice lady at the front desk changed my room to a first floor room so I didn’t have to drag my stuff up the stairs. Very much appreciated! "

"We truly enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is a little outdated but it was very clean! My kids loved the pool and hot tub! The Santa theme is perfect! This is a huge building too! I was amazed at how they can keep up with it. The breakfast was just waffles, cereal and toast but it suited us just fine, for the price it was great! "

"Room was very run down, sink was stained and the paint peeling in the room and bathroom. There were only 6 working television channels and the vending machine was nearly emptied of drinks. The ONLY options to eat are Denny’s and Wendy’s. They are NOT within walking distance and there is no gas station, or small store to shop at. The one staff member was very kind and the pool area was well-maintained. "

"“The Getaway” was a good location to travel to other areas & see different things. The home was well stocked with everything you would need. Aubrey answered all questions and responded quickly. She even gave us some nearby things to do. "
