"The couple who run the hotel were very pleasant and tried to be helpful but a great shame we couldn't access the internet anywhere in the hotel, or indeed in a brasserie on the town square. Room was an odd shape and rather cramped. Bathroom needed some refurbishment. Quiet and okay for an overnight stop. Avoid the restaurant which was very reasonable but produced 2 meals which had dried out meat and inedible mushy vegetables."

Tout était parfait : l’accueil chaleureux du personnel, la propreté irréprochable des chambres, et la qualité des services proposés. Le petit-déjeuner était varié et délicieux. L’emplacement est idéal, proche des principales attractions tout en étant au calme. Je recommande cet établissement les yeux fermés et j’y reviendrai sans hésiter. "

"Location is great, in reach of both Tain l'hermitage just by crossing the bridge and Tournon. Walls are very thin and we could hear the neighbours talking till about 2am. Bathroom is on the small side."

"This hotel was easy to find and although we speak no French the welcome was warm and helpful. This hotel is the old French style so is quite dark inside but there is a great terrace where an excellent meal was served. After we ordered our meal we received a small pre dinner canapé which we assumed was complimentary as all other tables were served with this treat as well. The next morning we noted it was on our account as petit dejeuner for 18 euro but the person behind the desk did not speak...

"Wonderfully located property and restaurant far beyond expectations for a two star hotel. The only downsides were no air conditioning and, contrary to info on Expedia, reception did not open until 5pm for us to check-in."
