"While the hotel doesnt really have any amenities, it is clean, safe and the staff was very friendly. The one amenity the do have is a shuttle to the casino. It would be a quick walk but its great to have this option in the winter.we will definitely be back!"

"Lovely stay. No tv or a/c but didn’t miss it. Stayed in the house on second floor. It’s like stepping back in time. Lots of antiques and so much charm. On the lake with plenty of things to do or just sit on the porch rocking enjoying good conversation with family. Very clean room and bathrooms;staff was helpful and kind."

"My 6 year old daughter said to her big brother: So- what do you say, best rental ever? We loved our time here at the old sugar loaf mountain chalet. It was right in the middle of the Leelanau, so about 20 minutes max from everywhere on the west and east side of the peninsula. Great hiking, biking, and good times. The condo was clean, communication was great, and we would like to come back. There were plenty of fun things built in for the kids to do around the house, and they of course enjoyed...

"Great location and plenty of space for 3 generations (3 adults, 3 kids). Country setting, but perfect for day trips to Traverse City, Glen Arbor, Pyramid Point! Close to main road, but in quiet neighborhood. We felt safe. Only concern was kitchen. Smoke alarm sounded after attempted oven use, and oven burners all lit sometimes with one burner on. 😮 We rinsed every kitchen item before use. We would rent again."

"Generally our stay was very pleasant. The location was convenient to other things we wanted to do such as biking, visiting Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, and the beautiful beach at Leland. The studio apartment above the garage was not completely finished and was dusty. Also the hide a bed mattress was very uncomfortable. Also the water to the shower in the studio apt never got more than luke warm, if that. It was somewhat awkward having so much of the owners personal possessions in the open. ...

"This cottage brought me back to the vacations I took as a child in the 1950s and 1960s. This is an old fashioned cottage that has been recently remodeled. The interior finishes are excellent, knotty pine walls and ceilings, tile and stone in the bathroom/shower. It's kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave and apartment sized oven. It cn accomodate up to six guests. The cottage was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Cheryl the host, was easy to get ahold of and was very helpful. ...
